Juliette, jeune femme d'une trentaine d'années, travaille dans un hôtel de luxe. Un jour, elle est approchée par un certain Georges Madère, pdg d'une grande entreprise. En réalité, Madère est son père, mais Juliette l'ignore. Du moins jusqu'au jour où, suite au décès de celui-ci, elle se retrouve à la tête de la moitié de la sociétéÉ En brunette craquante, Géraldine Pailhas mène le bal dans cette fable d'aujourd'hui. Aux requins de la finance, elle oppose un sourire carnassier et enjoleur qui fait mouche. Bernard Rapp signe une oeuvre tonique et rythmée.

Juliette is in her thirties and works in a luxury hotel. One day she is approached by a certain Georges Madère, director of a large company. Madère is her father, which is a fact Juliette is unaware of until he dies and she finds herself at the head of half his companyÉAs an irresistible brunette, Géraldine Pailhas has the ball in her court for this present-day fable and she matches up to the financial sharks with a carnivorous and bewitching smile that is right on target. Bernard Rapp's tale is both stimulating and well paced.

Littérature, cinéma, journalisme, télévision, Bernard Rapp, 57 ans, est un agent culturel éclectique d'une rare élégance, consacré tant comme journaliste, comme présentateur de journal télévisé, et comme animateur d'émission. Avec Jean-Claude Lamy, Bernard Rapp est à l'origine du dictionnaire des films, "Larousse" et il a dirigé pour France 3 l'immense chantier des portraits des écrivains les plus importants du 20e siècle. Après un premier long métrage, Tiré à part (1996), il a réalisé Une Affaire de gožt, en 1999.

Literature, cinema, journalism, television, 57 year old Bernard Rapp is an eclectic cultural agent of a rare elegance. He has been acclaimed as a journalist, a TV news presenter, and a programme presenter. In association with Jean-Claude Lamy he was at the origin of the "Larousse" dictionary of film and has directed a great number of portraits of important writers of the 20th century for France 3. After his first feature, Tiré à part in 1996, he made Une Affair de gožt, in 1999.
