American Chronicles, ép. “Farewell to the Flesh”
American Chronicles is a documentary travelogue produced by Mark Frost and David Lynch. As a brainchild of the two “Twin Peaks” creators it features many of the same quirky camera angles, focus on violence and sexuality while it brings music to the center stage of the narration. This segment of the American Chronicles covers the Mardi Gras celebrations in New Orleans and the half-hour weekly program was narrated by Richard Dreyfuss. Some might argue that “American Chronicles” inspired Lynch’s current “Interview Project”.
