L'Envahisseur
Amadou, a strong and charismatic African illegal immigrant, is dumped on a beach in southern Europe with his friend. Fate leads them to Brussels where, full of optimism, Amadou tries to make a better life for himself. Exploited by traffickers, he slowly loses all hope while his friend is murdered. Everything changes when he meets Agnès, a beautiful and brilliant businesswoman. Seduced by Amadou's charm and strength of character, she falls in love with him while he projects all his hopes and dreams onto her: Europe is indeed the Promised Land. An ambiguous film on illegal immigration and people's hidden drives.
